We asked for a  Public Comment Period on the changes to the proposed Ajax mine plan and we got it.

Our website lists the changes to the mine plan and the issues those raise at http://www.stopajaxmine.ca/new-mine-footprint.
Here are some issues you may wish to comment on:
-  the whole mine has been moved into the 
Peterson Creek watershed
-  present air quality and inversions prove that our valley cannot accept any more particulate matter (dust & diesel exhaust) from the mine
-  the arm of Jacko Lake which would be filled in provides the best fishing in the lake
-  risk of breaches of the tailings dams
-  soil stability and landslide risk
